Misaki Suzuhara
Misaki is a 12 year old girl who one day was walking to school and saw a small white angel battling in an Angelic Layer tournament. Though this angel's opponent was much bigger than her, the white angel still won the fight. Misaki was amazed by this and wanted to learn to battle with an angel in Angelic Layer. Her friend Kotarou, who she secretly admires, always backs her up in the tournaments by teaching her new karate moves for her angel, Hikaru to use in the ring. She also has help from her strange friend Icchan, Tamayo, Hatoko, her aunt Shouko, Oujirou and some other dueses she has battled in the ring.

Tamayo Kizaki
Tamayo is a 12-year-old girl who met Misaki when she was walking to school. Her best Kotarou was with her and she seemed to be beating him up at the time because he was in her class again. Tamayo always beats up Kotarou if he gets too close to Misaki or if she just wants to. She also kids around with Misaki saying "Misaki marry me!". She is quite the hyper character though. |

Kotarou Kobayashi
Kotarou is a 12 year old boy who is Hatoko's older brother. He also has a huge crush on Misaki and likes to help her out with her angel battles in any way he can. Sometimes he shows Misaki his karate moves so she can use them in the ring. Usually while he is watching her battle and something is going wrong, he always has the answers before anyone else incuding Misaki. Tamayo always jumps him but, if I were him by now, I'd be used to it. |
Ichirou Mihara (Icchan)
Icchan is a weird maniac that Misaki met on her first day of school. He owns the company that makes the angels for angelic fights but, not that many people pay attention to that. Many people on the street who see him with Misaki think he is a wacko who escaped from a mental hospital or something. The all think because he is wearing a lab coat, he is automatically crazy and he definatley is sick of it. He has a brother named Oujirou too. |

Oujirou Mihara
Oujirou is Icchan's brother and is the angelic layer champion. He may seem cool and the silent type at first but, don't get into a conversation with him or his true colors will show. He is kinda a pervert but, who cares! He is really hot. He went up against Misaki and he appeared to be winning but Misaki figured out her weakness and his. She finally beat him but of coarse, he had a cool attitude about it. |
Hatoko Kobayashi
Hatoko is Kotarou's little sister. At first she may seem like a little girl but, she is actually a undefeated angelic layer dues! Even Misaki lost to her. But, everything changed when she was defeated by Sai. Then Misaki made a promise to her that she would defeat Sai and become champion. Of coarse Misaki did that promise and then Hatoko thought she could do anything. On the outside, Hatoko is a quiet yetwise little girl but, on the insidde she is a very emotional deus. |

(Asami) Shouko Suzuhara
Shouko is Misaki's aunt who lives with her. Shouko is a news reporter who is also mysterious in many ways. She is the kinda character that knows everything before you do. She is the kind that says really scary and weird phrases and you won't know what they mean until the very end of the book or series. She is really cool though. She always picks on Misaki about her and Kotarou. She is really a minor character who has all the information. |
Shuuko Suzuhara
This character is a real important one. Shuuko Suzuhara is Misaki's mom. But why doesn't she live with her mom? And why doesn't she ever see her mom at all in the whole series? Well, it's kinda a long story but i'll shorten it for you. Shuuko never sees Misaki because, she loves her so much that she is shy whenever she is around her. So basically whenever she sees Misaki, she flees from shyness. It's kinda stupid but, hey. At least she loves her. In the end they reunite anyway as yuo would've guessed. |

Kaede Saitou
Kaede is a sweet caring dues with her angel Blanche. When Misaki battled Kaede, she thought it would be a easy match because, right off the bat she had the advantage and was winning. But, right at the end, Blanche made an incredible comeback by using a specail attack in which Hikaru could barely touch her. But, In the end, as we've all figured, Misaki ends up winning and gains another friend. |
Sai Jounouchi
Now Sai is hard to describe. Let me say cranky and grouchy. That's what her apperence may say right? Well that's not what she is. She is actually a ver focused dues who beat the undefeated Hatoko! So Misaki had to find a way around this by winning, which we all know she did. Sai after she was beat, was a little angry at first then accepted it. When Misaki was in battles after her's, she always gives precious information about the opponent. Once again, Misaki gained another friend. |

Seto Ringo
Ringo was yet another cocky opponent of Misaki that was also defeated by her. With all to say about the other people, it really sums her up. The only thing to say is, yet again, another friend. |
Madoka Fujisaki
Now Madoka was different. She battled Misaki during her early battles. But, there was one twist to this battle. She cheated. Her sister was giving her tips from the audience and Misaki was losing because of it. When Oujirou finally caught her, Misaki got the hang of it and won like always. Madoka apologized after but, her sister was mad at both Misaki and Oujirou and promised she would defeat Misaki. |

Arisu Fujisaki
Arisu is Madoka's sister who helped her cheat in one of Misaki's first matches. When Arisu promised to defeat Misaki, she really meant it! After that fight, she closely watched Misaki's fights and designed her own angel. She finally battled Misaki to determine if she would keep her promise. Of coarse Misaki won. When the match was done, Misaki tried to be friends with Arisu but, it took a little getting used to. She finally accepted Misaki and told her to win the championships. |
Ogata-Kun
Ogata-kun is Icchan's partner. I guess you could say it's kind of his slave to. He threatens Ogata with death if he doesn't get him candy and other sweets within five minutes. In other words, Ogata-kun is tromotized for life. |
